The award-winning team at Fota Island Adventure has carefully crafted the school programme to highlight the significance of camaraderie, effective communication, and teamwork among your students.
Through regular meetings with our schools and continuous process evaluations, we uphold a commitment to providing a safe, inclusive, and enriching educational experience for all.
Classes are organized into smaller groups, offering students an opportunity to build connections and share experiences that will benefit them throughout their academic journey.

Practical information to help you prepare for your day at Fota Island Adventure, including what to wear, how to get here, and choosing the right experience.
Please wear old clothes and bring a change of clothes in case you have incidental contact with mud and the great outdoors in general.
Footwear (runners you don’t mind getting wet)
Cool or rainy: Light fleece, thermal top, woolly hat
Warm: Sun hat, sun glasses (string attached), sun screen
Our school tours are 4.5hrs long and are a moveable feast depending on your schedule. We can start and finish based on what suits you and your travel time best.
We take approximately 120 students at a time and a normal tour would involve shelter building, fire lighting and marshmallow cooking in the survival skills area. Kombat archery on the pitch and finishing up with the obstacle course.
The cost per student is €35.
If you wish to bring the entire school, we can restructure a section of the pitch to cater for the younger students to include inflatables, games and nature walks but require additional staff from the school to attend.

We have a full day’s activity tailored to your class size and the space available, which includes Judo Assist, self-defense, nutrition and some fun activities to finish.
