Our single sit on top Kayaks, double sit on top kayaks and treble sit on top kayaks are all the same price, pick the one that suits both your numbers and your capability.
Due to our waters being tidal, booking are subject to change and cancellation if conditions are deemed to be unsuitable.
But don’t worry, if the water based activities are cancelled we will happily accommodate you on land with our 2 hour family adventure.

Practical information to help you prepare for your day at Fota Island Adventure, including what to wear, how to get here, and choosing the right experience.
Please wear old clothes and bring a change of clothes as you will have incidental contact with the water and you will get somewhat wet.
Arrive about ten minutes early to the adventure centre to get kitted out.
Swimwear/Towel
Footwear (runners you don’t mind getting wet)
Cool or rainy: Light fleece, thermal top, woolly hat
Warm: Sun hat, sun glasses (string attached), sun screen

Kayaking is tidal based, so please check the date you require to show you the time available.
There is a maximum weight capacity for both the kayaks and the life jackets. It is an adventure that requires an average level of fitness.
Min age 8YRS.
PLEASE ARRIVE 15 MINUTES BEFORE THE START TIME, IN YOUR ACTIVE CLOTHES AND READY TO GO
Experience the beauty of Fota Island Resort from the water, spend an hour and half under the guidance of our fully qualified instructors kayaking, playing water games and enjoying the beautiful surrounding. Helmets and buoyancy aids are provided, wet suits are not needed, nor is the ability to swim, so arrive, paddle and prepare for a little bit of splashing.
