Fota Adventure is committed to purchasing products that are sourced locally and are as ethical as possible in terms of origin, shipping, and reusability. All of our on site equipment is sourced from within Ireland with exception of our Kombat Archery bows originating from the UK. Kicking off our 2023 season, the Fota team have locally sourced upcycled equipment and materials for our exciting new activities program.

The Fota team regularly measure and review our waste bins. Our aim for 2023 is to reduce consumption from 3 bins to 1 bin through education and enforcement. We urge customers refrain from using single-use plastics and no longer allow them on site. In 2023 we will no longer be using Print Media. Our focus will be on Eflyers and our Social Media presence.

Sustainability is a journey of continuous improvement. Our team is fully invested in furthering our knowledge of sustainable tourism. We provide our employees with the time and opportunity to learn and grow. For example part of our team attended Sustainable Travel Ireland’s “Inspiring Sustainable Tourism 2022” web conference. We gained great insight for our on-ground employees to create a sustainable environment for both our team and customers.
